G is for Giving Scholarship

This scholarship was created from collective donations received through the Foundation’s annual “G is for Giving” campaign and other donations to benefit UOG students in need.       

• Award: $750 for one year  

• Eligibility:  
  • Applicant must be a UOG student in good standing. 
  • Must be a full-time student (12+ credit hours) 
  • Preference to be given to students who have volunteered time within the last 12 months in support of the UOG Endowment Foundation or with a UOG project or event.   
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. 
  • Letter of recommendation from UOG department leader or Certificate of Appreciation required as proof of volunteer status. 

• Payable to:  UOG 

• Selection committee:  UOGEF Selection Committee. UOGEF to confirm volunteer status.
