The University of Guam Endowment Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that supports the University of Guam. The Foundation receives charitable donations on behalf of the University. Charitable contributions made to the Foundation may qualify donors for certain tax benefits while at the same time making an impact on UOG and its students. Give by Mail
You are able to mail in gifts to the Endowment Foundation by utilizing the form below.

If you wish to direct your support to a particular school, program, scholarship, special projects.
A number of faculty and staff choose to make regular gifts to support the areas of UOG that they care about the most. You can download and fill out the Faculty and Staff Payroll Deduction Form to easily set up an automatic deduction and help UOG students, programs, and projects of your choice.

Gifts of real estate are great ways to support the mission of the University of Guam and may entitle you to a charitable deduction of the full fair market value of the property.

Give your donation an extra boost! Some employers will match your gift to UOGEF. If your employer has a matching gift policy, contact your HR department for more information and designate the University of Guam Endowment Foundation as your selected organization.
Gifts of cash include checks, drafts, and money orders. If your donation is received before the end of the calendar year and you itemize your taxes, you can claim an income tax deduction for that year. Gifts of cash are deductible up to 100% of your adjusted gross income.
Cash contributions that exceed the deduction limit can be carried over and deducted in the following five years.
If you do not itemize your taxes, the CARES Act authorizes a tax deduction of $300 for individuals and $600 for joint-filers that is extended through 2021.

Donations of stocks, bonds, or ETFs are great ways to support the University of Guam.
Long-term, appreciated securities (those owned for more than one year & have increased in value) allow you to avail of a income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift (a maximum deduction of 30% of your adjusted gross income), if you itemize deductions.
In addition, you generally do not have to pay capital gains tax on donations of long-term appreciated securities.
Short-term securities (those owned for less than one year), only allow the donor claim an income tax deduction for the purchase price of the securities.
Cryptocurrencies are also a good option to support UOG. Due to the current volatility of cryptocurrency, donations received will be liquidated upon receipt.

Donor Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds are great avenues to support UOGEF through grants administered by the funds.
Donor-Advised Funds function like a charitable investment account that allows you to designate cash, securities, or other assets as donations while allowing these assets time to grow in a DAF while reaping some of the immediate benefits associated with charitable giving.
