In Memoriam

The family of the late Dr. Jose Q. Cruz, the fifth president of the University of Guam, wishes to establish a scholarship in his honor and memory.

Dr. Cruz was aware of how critical financial support is to open up educational opportunities for bright young students, having benefitted from such support himself as an undergraduate. His lifetime of service to education, including in his role at Department of Education, as well as his tenure as UOG president, demonstrate how serious he was about supporting and improving education on Guam
